Re: loops in Logic 8 - also in Logic pro x?
I'll check out my loops folder in Logic X when I get home. I seem to remember downloading 'legacy' type stuff at one point...

Re: New piece! Multitracked CS-50
Thanks pinksoir! The main pad - I'm playing a 6 note arpeggio. I think its 16th note triplets with a 6/8 type feel. I did three layers of this pattern, one with the DEP-5 reverb, one with the Valhalla, and one an octave up with the DEP-5 again. Reverb times are set super long and mix levels pretty w...

Re: Drum machine recommendations?
The Tempest is similar to other DSI gear: - It is very deep, powerful, and extremely programmable -...but that means you MUST invest time in learning how to program it to get great sounds. - People don't like the preset sounds, it doesn't come with a bunch of 808 and 909 and other stock kits easily...

New piece! Multitracked CS-50
In response to this time of year's craziness in my life, I somehow managed to squeeze out some good old fashioned inspiration. Completed over a couple of days, this is a CS-50 multitracked, running though a DEP-5 and Valhalla Room. I'm currently developing a concept to house this sort of sound in an...

Re: Ambient EP
This is great stuff, I'm listening right now. I also dig hearing about how music is composed, so thanks for sharing! Strangely enough, I've started some ambientish pieces this week (maybe as the antithesis to my insane schedule this time of year?) and hope to develop the concepts into an album as my...

Don't sell it!
As a new owner of a CS-50, I know exactly what you're experiencing right now. Its an synth that's making you stop and say 'huh, I didn't think THIS was possible'
These are the reactions we all live for!

Re: VSE - Good trader/seller thread
Sir Ruff/Silikon. This was a joint effort to get me a Korg 770...that I'm now passing along to others! It came to me quickly, well packed and as described! Not to mention some great conversation!

Re: Modysix -Polysix/Poly-61 midi retrofit and feature exten
Just placed an order for a Modysix - exactly the amount of cost and effort I was looking for to get midi + more out of my Polysix!
Still looking at the Polysex mod as well....

Cool. I just ordered on of these: http://tubbutec.de/modysix/ Reasonably priced midi kit with a bunch of other features and plug n play installation. And of course it accepts midi clock info!

Drumtraks Clocking Polysix Arp
Anyone have experience with this? I assume this should be as straight forward as: Drumtraks CLK Out > Vtrig/Strig converter > Polysix Arp Trig In?
