Wurly 200 Crossbar (amp, xformer, speakers mount)
Ha.
Anyone got one of these laying around?
My brilliant new project is restoring this Wurly that has nothing but keys, action assembly, harps, base/top.
ZERO electronics or the things they mount on.
So yeah, this crossbar piece is KEY to making this all happen!

Re: Synthesizers.com system
Don't forget to check out what Mos-Lab (in France) has to offer. I've been drooling over his recreations of Moog 5u for a long time now...from my comparisons of audio demos, its got a little more character to my ears than the Dotcom stuff. Now of course, the Dotcom stuff sounds awesome as well. But ...

Reengineering the Moog Source User Interface
So, as some of you already know, I picked up a Moog Source a few weeks ago. Super fantastically great sounding machine. Totally worthy of being referred to as 'the closest you get to an original Minimoog.' Bonuses include the arpeggiator, sequencer, 2-1 osc sync, S+H, and of course, patch memory. Ho...

Re: Favorite Stringer?
On a whim today I made a quick demo of 3 great stringers side by side. I also ran the dry Solina signal through the JH Triple Chorus in for good measure. It IS surprising how different these beasts are from each other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgzkHM7j59Y http://youtu.be/lgzkHM7j59Y uuuuuuuuu...

Cool, I was wondering if you still had yours, shaft (I watched the video).
What is the price point of this board these days? If the one on ebay right now is any indication, forget it - I'll just buy an Odyssey!

Re: Moog Opus 3 Cleaning
So yeah, got an Opus 3 that definitely needs some love. Congratulations, I love my opus 3 to bits! It is such a joy to play. I find it really easy to integrate into a live band sett up. Hopefully the foam isn't too hard for you to get off. No matter how spotless I seem to get mine, there is always ...

Re: Moog Opus 3 Cleaning
Well, I won't clean the circuit board with lacquer thinner. Soap and water seems like a safe bet. In other news, I've desoldered, disassembled, cleaned, relubed, reassembled, and resoldered one slider...and it works! Never done it before...only 24 more to go! And after further testing and cleaning, ...

Moog Opus 3 Cleaning
So yeah, got an Opus 3 that definitely needs some love. I've taken it all apart and want to clean the foam gunk off the board with the switches and sliders. As is, it doesn't look to bad. The circuit it board seems really clean, no corrosion and just specs of foam stuck to it. Only a few sliders are...
