Re: anyone else be interested in an Arturia Minibrute module
I'm actually starting to think this forum might have a bigger say to large companies than previously thought... BTW

If it were $300 or less, maybe.

Re: Korg Mini MS-20
The original MS20 can be patched to accept CV from a Prophet ? I'd be interested in knowing how to patch this !Stab Frenzy wrote:The oscs run Hz/V but there is a mod input which has an exponential convertor so you can run V/Oct in. It takes a little bit of patching but it can be done.

Re: DSI announces Prophet 12!
I doubt the oscillators are samples. I imagine the classic waveforms at the least are modeled. I imagine there are samples of the VS...

Re: DSI announces Prophet 12!
Like I said in the post about the MS20, I'd rather have digital oscillators and analog everything else. Can't wait to play Jump on this.

Re: Monotribe CV control
Then the next question will be will an update make cv control only work with the king korg or will it possible to use it with any cv gear so long as you have the appropriate cable? Probably other gear if it is,t a proprietary voltage. Surely they aren't going to get people to buy the KK solely to c...

Re: Korg Mini MS-20
I'd rather have analog filters and digital oscillators than analog oscillators and digital filters actually. +1 on this. Totally opinion based but I'd take creamy analog filters w/in-tune osc vs. step filters w/ drifting osc. caveat: todays advances with digital modeling are awfully damned close to...

Re: Korg Mini MS-20
This post is technically about MS20 mini AND KingKorg, which is why people might be starting new threads about the king korg. Bit misleading title now. But obviously most discussion is about the MS

Re: DSI announces Prophet 12!
Nowhere does it say the oscillators are analog... They're not; apparently they're not even DCOs, but processer-based. Fine by me as long as they've got more than the usual waveforms in there. Yep. First hint to me wasn't that it has 4 per voice, but "complex" waveforms. Would be sweet if this could...
