Yeah I figured it would probably necessitate MIDIfication.
Thanks anyway.

Re: Again: Juno or Polysix?
Yeah the keyboard on the polysix is truly a piece of s**t. I was thinking about replacing too but didn't really know where to begin. Care to share any advice?

Re: VSE 2014 Song Contest Theme
Yeah...still, he refers to an array of counters and a resistive network as if they're discrete components, which doesn't seem like a simple or cost-effective measure...and I have no idea why they'd use one DCO and one digital oscillator if one kind was cheaper (since neither oscillator produces any...

Re: Is the synthesizer simply an "improved" form of piano ??
Of course historically, one can also surmise that equipping synths with a piano-like keyboard was a way to give a certain reassuring, bourgeois legitimacy and "seriousness" to synths as accepted and acceptable music instruments. You could say that and I have indeed read stuff to that effect, often ...

Re: What was the cheapest Synth you ever bought?
Yeah I saw that. Add's still up for what it's worth. Near me and I from what I can tell a good price but a sigma? Nah.
More interesting is the supposedly fully working SK-20 going for £300 in Nottingham. Would be quite tempted if it were closer to home.

Re: Raffle for minimoog signed by Gary Numan
$20 for a chance to win a minimoog (which I'd take over a voyager any day), signed by one of the most famous minimoog users, with all proceeds going to charity, and still people are complaining? :? I It's their overbearing publicity. Seems like these days I can't even turn on the TV without hearing...

Re: Bottom Ten Worst Synths of All Time
Straight up honestly, Roland tb-303 would be total c**p if it came out with current standardss. Was c**p then, and always will be c**p, but hey see the fashionable synth thread here for any insight to possibly why I'd keep it around to show off when the cheese pattay and IPA beer can coasters run l...

Re: Jupiter 4 making sound but not well
One easy first step is to check that every connection inside is secure. May seem silly but I've had a couple of occasions when odd behaviour turned out to be the fault of an iffy molex connector. If that doesn't solve anything it might be worth checking control board E (the arpeggio & key mode butto...

Re: Yamaha CS-10, sound comes in and out
I have had a similar issue with my CS-15, I traced it down to the HP/LP/BP filter switch. They easily collect dust and dirt, once it is in there, it can not get out. This used to stop the audible signal getting to the output on mine. I am not sure if you have the same problem but try cleaning out t...
