i have heard alot about how the 707 doesnt keep time that well. i have had 2 707 over the years. and never seemed to notice. but when i hook the 606 and slave it to the 707 its a bit off. its most noticeable when i use the trigger out with my sh 101 and trigger out my juno 60 out of the 707. the 606...

triiger mod for the roland 606
Im sure there are people in the us that do this and do it well. I just cant seem to find it on here or anywhere. i really want to do the quicksilver mod, but i dont think it is possible to have both with out some sort of outside casing.

Acid runs on Windows only if that matters. I used Acid briefly but decided that Ableton Live could do the same things with a better user interface. I also wanted to work on a Mac, that sealed the deal for me. Live rules for working with loops and also for working linearly. thank you so much for the...

i have used cubase and have hated it.
i have heard a lot of great things about sony acid pr and ableton live.
i am learning to work with loops and want some kind of sequencing ability.
which do you prefer and why.
