i used a stereo to mono 1/4' cable to connect it. That's your problem, you used a passive split cable backwards. A stereo to mono 1/4" cable doesn't exist. If you want to run stereo you need to run to a stereo input on a mixer, a stereo input on an amp that has that capability or to two speakers/am...

Have you tried a factory reset? That'd be the first thing I'd try :) yeah, it was the first thing that i tried. but the guy who sold me the keyboard isn't a player. he is just a seller. the keyboard stayed for like 1 year, stocked. i hope it is only dirt, so it would be easy fixed. lets see what ha...

I had an 8080 a while back, same faders and they too seemed a bit overly sensitive, would sometimes bounce between settings while not even touching them sometimes. It seemed a common issue with those units as I recall, anyhow if I remember correctly and I may not be, there was a firmware update tha...
