Ah thanks Stab, I've nothing that says side-chain on it to use it I know, but you gave me an idea with your second suggestion. Howeve its going to involve panning to the pumpee, spliting the pumper back into another channel on the mixer. Damn that sounds like a plan and half, got to try it now, see ...

Side-Chain Question?

Do you have to have a mixer or compressor with this option on it to do it? Can you do it via AuxFX on a mixer to a compressor/noisegate/limiter then back into the mixer some how? I'm not looking for a software option and I don't have mixers with it or a hardware compressor with that option built in ...

Prob cheap or easiest to get another then have it fixed or find replacement parts sadly. Have you had it apart to look and see if something didn't just get knocked loose?

Roland SH-201 should win easily. Roland MC-808 - way c**p feeling too, beyond craplitude, like plastic spinners on a station waggon. DSI PEK - I know its favored by many, guts seem tight, but buttons & knobs they chose IMHO are some weak s**t. They'll give replacements tho afaik if break which is go...

I know what you are talking about, except the rod is more then one, and in sections on my oddy, and some other synths. I think your prob right about the resistors per key, but I don't really know. Just have had a some of my synths apart and the rod or strip as I've called it is more then one key lon...

 I didn't see it. I was going by a third-hand report that it was "big, black and old"

I use to, but not any more for some unknown reason. I guess mine would of been JP8 with a spliced power chord. Two mins to fix, awesomeness forever for me.

Yeah congrats... I've had my CS15 apart to clean key contacts, don't use vacume, use some light sand paper where the Jwires make contact with the strip. I noticed mine had some key issues when I got it, took it apart, and it seemed like they were lightly caroded where they make contact. I actually s...

I'd try to keep the two the same what ever it is most of the time. It makes for less confusion, but it might be fun to set them difrently every once in a while just to see what I'd get out of them.

2 Yamaha RS7000s (cant live without at least one), then a mixer with sound card built in to run into PC notebook /w same soft as I have now. And, I'd prob sink all the rest of whats left into trying to piece together a good sized modular, and prob a KPIII for effects.

I listend to it, and you know what it sounds like to me? I probably not it, but it reminded me that I had a laptop back in the day that when I used the touch pad, I'd hear little ticks as sweaped my finger across it that sounded very similar to your glitches. Funny thing was I was using a desktop to...

Well that does seem odd. I've never seen that happen, don't have either units you have though, the values always change on my gear if the sound does. I think it would be more of a problem with Korg or the sound module though from what your saying. If nobody else here has one and can help ya, have yo...
