I would of been surprised if Yam did scaled down keys. I don't think they ever put out a synth with actual mini sized keys, have they? Not counting their porta-synth line. Had an RX5, pretty similar I imagine, it sounded pretty decent but no fun at all considering my RS7000 had all of it's drums and much easier to use step sequencer very similar to the QYs. To me it sounds like bell sound, that has probably been pitch shifted by speeding up and slowing down (sample style) for dif notes.
