To me, RL Music is different because they really re-do everything. h**l, they even refinish everything. You are buying a completely refurbished vintage instrument, not something that has just been 'serviced'.
OTOH, I've not bought anything from them. But what I have seen looks very nice.

Yeah I totally agree with you Bob-omb, and I love your videos Jexus. The two are definitely mutually exclusive. Bob-omb referred to people on YouTube who don't know how to make their synths sounds interesting, and that is most certainly not you Jexus. You clearly get the best out of your gear. Cheer...

I take it this is a reference to all the amazing deals this person has on ebay: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZau.s Bet he barely breaks even with all his reoccuring listing fees... I think I would be embarrassed to have prices like that. It's almost like an admission: "Hi! I'm trying to screw an...

Overpromised and underdelivered. Like pretty much any small company, except DSI. I would add Elektron to that list of exceptions as well. They have been backed-up lately, but, frankly, that is more than understandable considering the tragedy that has recently befallen their company. And, of course,...

As for me, I'm saving $$ for the Ebbe und Flut. I predict good times for all when I get that particular piece of equipment. Trust me, it's crossed my mind. I guess it would break down like this: DSI MEK, Sherman FB 2, M-Resonator vs. Ebbe und Flut The Ebbe und Flut would be amazing, I'm sure, but t...

I'm also considering just getting a single Filterbank 2 and a Jomox M-Resonator for stereo stuff. Bigbag, that is what you have, right? I've got the FB1 and the M-Res. I also use the Evolver's filters a fair bit. The one thing about the M-Res is that it's largely what you'd say 'interesting', and i...

Nope, I could not either. Is it difficult to program the desktop version of the Evolver? What did you control it with? So far, the Waldorf XT looks good, as well as the Evolver Desktop model. Keep them coming! No love for the Monomachine, huh? I really don't think you can go wrong with the XT or th...

As for the 2x2, I don't own one, but I don't see why you couldn't run a stereo signal into it and make sure all of the knobs were just right. It's not true true stereo, but it would still be mighty nice :) Yeah, no doubt. It just would have been nice if they had built-in true stereo. I'm guessing i...

Monomachine SFX-60. It excels at fx type noises, and you can use the tape style built-in delay to do some cool ambient stuff. Three freely-assignable LFO's on each channel, tape-style delay on each channel, bit reducer, distortion on each channel, plus a ton more. FM, SID-emulation, drums, Voice-mod...

The ER-1 is very serviceable for what you pay for it. h**l, you can get a first generation for like $125 on eBay now. I haven't had mine for over a year. I lent it to a friend who doesn't have a lot of gear. Of course, he has done far more with it than I ever did (another lesson on 'less is more'). ...
