Does the MS-20 play well with other gear CV-wise? Oh well. Instead of telling you "I don't know." I was going to try it with bro's SH-101 but the cv/gate in/outs are a smaller cable that I don't have. So I have to go with I don't know until I get a hold of that type of cable  . S'all good, tha...

TT, if you're into beats and patterns on an addictive basis like me, you'll go nuts interfacing the 777's CV outs w/ the Moog. You might even think twice about selling the Voyager once you do, since there's all those lovely red-ringed connectors 8) I run the MIDI out of the 777 into the LP, then st...

The keyboard on the SF-6 is attached to the groovebox portion. Therefore its not a groovebox, and married couples definatly are not allowed inside the doors. We can't have any of that sick pervertedness going on. There is a swingers bar down the street. What?? Now you're saying the Monomachine isn'...

Wow, what does routing the gate out to the cv in do? I'm afraid to try!!!  Good question. Just do it, baby. I guess in some sense it sounds redundant, because the sequencer is already gating the OSC's, but it does something. I can't explain this s**t, I just do it. -Oh, I know. It routes...

The triggers allow you to press them and keep them depressed...like a x0x style sequencer (keep in mind the Elektron Machinedrum has 256 possible events in a one bar loop ie 16 different sounds vs 16 slots of x0x) so 256 is actually very useful. Also, it is not like MPC pads...each pad is a switch ...

It's a bit of a one-trick-pony for me right now, but it's only been an hour, so I'm sure I'll figure out some of the subtleties. Once you start messing with the Env instead of the Gate, mixing in the 2nd Osc and the two sub Osc's and using the available modulation routings you'll soon find out it i...

The Sirus doesn't cross into it, its a performance synthsizer with multitrack sequencing ability. And the Monomachine or Polymorph isn't? This whole exercise just makes me chuckle. I actually wouldn't ever call the Sirius a groovebox either. I just wanted to see where the line was being drawn...

Just got my 777 today. Only played with it for an hour or so, but I can see why everyone loves it so much: very easy to use, it sounds great, the sequencer is cool, etc. It's a bit of a one-trick-pony for me right now, but it's only been an hour, so I'm sure I'll figure out some of the subtleties. ...

The Sirius can't be included. Sorry, it just can't or we'd have to allow all workstation keyboards to be called Grooveboxes or GrooveGear too, and we can't have that in our club. So, it's just the fact that it has a keyboard then? I mean, I could care less, I've never even played one. It raises an ...

Quasimidi Rave-O-Lution Quasimidi Polymorph Surely the Sirius must be included too. Or are keyboards totally out of bounds? I mean, minus the keyboard, the Sirius is every bit the 'groovebox' that the Rave-O-Lution and the Polymorph are, no? I saw the demo videos that Jexus did of the Sirius, and h...

I gotta say, imo, that is one of the ugliest synthesizers I have ever seen. Maybe if they painted the whole thing black, then we could talk. What's up with the beige?? I mean... could they pick a more bland color? Those old, hideoous office filing cabinets are beige, not synthesizers. Of course, I'm...
