You don't really need the junction box. If I take the cable and plug it from the back of the 3100 into the 3200, the 3100's keyboard will control the pitch perfectly of both synths. It will even control the 3200 if the 3100 is turned off. So in essence I have a three oscillator semi-modular polysynt...

I personally have no problem with people expressing their opinion, I just have issues when it's just done in a a sort of juvenile way such as "it sucks". This hardly sucks. The funny thing to me is the biggest complaint I've seen is about it's looks. There are quite a few ugly synths too, but if it ...

Are you for real? The ARP avatar is a synth triggered by a guitar. How is that like this? I could be wrong but I believe 7Hz may be referring to this as the product that will sink Moog - just like the Avatar did ARP as it was pretty much unsellable. That's what I thought when I read his post at lea...

Two words: ARP AVATAR Plus, I can get a guitar to infinite sustain by holding the neck against the cab, or by turning the volume up, or with big distortion... I can also get a better muted sound with the palm of my hand, or a sock. The guitar in the video doesn't sound good to me, it sounds weak. I...

I don't understand the appeal of that what so ever...waveterm wrote:The Korg Sigma has quarter tone ability.
Press two adjacent keys and you get the pitch in between !
ALternate tunings and such can be a lot of fun, but if I hit down two keys I don't want an awful detuned sound to come out... (or do I...)

this is crazy. i've had some issues with this particular 101. the pitch bender on the synth will bend notes up one full octave but not down one full octave. the mgs-1 grip will bend notes up about +10 semitones but not a full octave. I had my tech look at this for about a month and he couldn't figu...

Seems (I won't say looks, because I agree that it's hideously ugly, very late '80s/early '90s style) cool. But, yeah, who besides rich old dudes, who have a little change left from their mid-life crisis sports cars, are going to buy these? I bet a lot of indie bands would love these. I know I would...
