I don't have an ARP, but I do have a Teisco S-100P which basically is a preset synth manufactured under license from ARP. That's what it says on it at the very least. It sounds pretty good actually but it's nothing mind blowing being a simple preset synth. I think the only way you'll be able to und...

Its a long story that I actually don't know the full ending of the story. It was in top shape when I sold it.

though i agree, ups standards dont necessarily protect things properly.
Do you mean the 700? It was packed BY UPS, so it should've been.

99% of synths shipped aren't packed professionally to UPS or FedEx standards because it costs about $100 or more to do it. UPS boxed up a System 700 main console and they managed to trash the whole right side of it. I would NEVER pack a synth with UPS standards since I would want it to arrive in on...

I'm such a moron. This is not the Odyssey. I posted the wrong track. Languid Mood is actually a Korg MS-10 and MS-20.

The ARP Odyssey track is here.

I have one and actually haven't had one issue with it (knock on wood). Congrats! Which revision is it? How many voices?

Now all you need is a Prophet-5 and a System 700 lab and you have Japan's good stuff.

Probably the closest I've come with it out actually being a Moog was a Crumar DS-2 believe it or not.

Here is a 17 year old song my friend and I did. No synth content but it's short. My friend now has a podcast (Josh Mormann) (to which this is linked, but all you will here is the song). This was actually the very first song we ever recorded.

A Languid Mood - ARP Odyssey MK1

This entire song was done with a MK1 odyssey. It's a drone track but I know some like that sort of thing ;)

Aye, but how many synths with patch memory actually have a "manual" button? ;)

The CS-80 presets are not all hardwired. There is a section where you can program four presets for recall. Although this is still done all analog not digital...
