My two favourites currently: Zvex Fuzz Factory - It hisses, it squeals, it fizzes, it buzzes, and you're never quite sure what it'll do next. Plus it self-oscillates - does it get any cooler than that? Biyang OTD-100 - Glorious rich valve distortion for next to nowt. It grinds, it crunches, but it n...

I'm using the R-5, but I'm pretty sure this works the same: Press the 'sound' button in the edit section, then press "1" to select "edit". Now hit the pad of whatever sample you want to change the velocity response for, and press the "parameter - select" button until "curve" appears on the screen. S...

Thanks Alan, those are good quality rips.

WTFSL is still doing the rounds at film festivals, which is a good sign. :)

CS gas is a type of tear gas, used for riot control etc. Prophet 2000 might be wrong, but I was thinking it could be a reference to the cult B-movie Death Race 2000. And prophet is a culty sounding word. The speed of sound is actually about 770mph, but I suppose that'd get rounded up to 800 in conve...

Jambo already got #17 - it's CS10 (as in CS gas)

And I still stand by my #7 - 'Polly' 800 (as in 800fps, just shy of the 1000fps that is the speed of sound. I'm just guessing that as a former military man Clueless would be used to thinking in fps).

he's not referring to the synth stuff, just the hard kick. i think it would be very much at home in an industrial track. Remember that for a lot of people on this forum "Industrial" means things like Throbbing Gristle, Skinny Puppy, Neubauten, Cabaret Voltaire etc. Not the sort of thing you'll gene...

Just curious. Isn't it a bit unhealthy to bend things that are powered from an outlet? I thought that was typically limited to battery powered devices as a touch in the wrong spot may not stop at frying the synth but the owner too? I'm not tyring to be a j**k, I just had a sudden worry for people m...

That's awesome, Nath. I love the sound of that delay... maybe it's time to get my OTD-100 a companion too!
