don't know about the filter.. but I do know that Electr-Harmonix designed the "instant-replay" part of it! ;) Well... sort of. David Cockerell was working at Electro-Harmonix when he designed the S-612, and the technology was then sold to Akai. Or something along those lines, I can't quite remember...

Doesn't matter if you're an atheist or not, it's one h**l of a great excuse to spend unwisely. I was planning on getting a TC Electronic Powercore Firewire, but ended up building a new 3D animation rig instead. Cursed priorities... Good thing you waited, because the X8 Firewire version just dropped...
