MS-20 question

Hi, I've got a beautiful MS-20 lately. Most things seem to be okay though there're a couple problems. So, for you guys who're expert about the synth, I have a question if this behavior is normal - with VCO1/2 and HPF/LPF all at 0 level, if I turn LPF's FM (MG/T.EXT) up, I hear thumping noise from LF...

Overdub?

Half of traditional non-electric instruments are mono. :D

If my memory serves garageband has virtual keyboard, which is similar to Logic's but looks nicer..

I haven't seen any stand alone commercial soft inst that directly supports computer keyboard as a midi trigger.

I could never like digital pianos... If it's recorded and listen thru the stereo maybe alright but not in live play, no matter which model I hear the sound from electric speakers... and it's kinda feel low pass filtered.

I want Prodyssay so much but I can't justify for over $1000 for the thing which doesn't even come with a keyboard!

I run Logic Pro 7.2 on 1st generation MacBook Pro (1.83Ghz Core NOT2 Duo) with 1.5GB of Ram. I use an external firewire 400 HD for recorded audio and sample library etc. Since I'm not demanding pro-level serious power or stability at the moment, it serves well enough. I went a BestBuy the other day ...

It's not free but if you buy a mac now it'll come as free together as part of iLife. I think it's a very well done program. Easy and clean. It is limited in many ways and may not be "serious" or is not pro software but if what you make is a simple music with normal beat, no beat change, and simple b...

The guy who sold it to me was a nice guy and he even delivered the package to my nearest subway station here in nyc...(he doesn't live in the state but he was coincidentally near to the ci...

Well, what I need to do is to reduce the voltage. The phono connector excpects some mili volt while Line signal is much higher voltage. The result of connecting Line-level -> Phono input is distorted sound, obviously (not EQ) Isn't that little box an amplifier.. It is for phono-level -> Line input. ...

It's not synth topic but anybody knows some reasonable line-to-phono (NOT phono-to-line) signal converter available? Stuff that does a thing like

I'm in the same boat - well, kinda. I need a mixer which is very reasonable (max $200) and small and not too noisy and with stereo send/return. I don't need complex monitoring routing capability. Only except stereo send, Tapco Mix 100 seemed very nice but man, send must be stereto... Any good gear s...
