So is this the waldorf Q or the blowfeld or the nano in what looks like "this is how they could afford to bring back the pulse " ie an even more expensive package ? Looks are sexy though I will say , but come on Waldorf recycling can only go so far right ?Gianni wrote:I'm thinking of buying this just because it would look so beautiful under a Mopho.

Re: Winter NAMM 2012
Looks like you can now play Choplifter on the OP-1?
Not sure what the drumming monkeys are for though.
I can't tell if they're just an interface for chaining OP-1s or something, or if they've added a new drum synth?:

The monkeys are part of an OS upgrade for the OP-1, which also includes a new drum synth.Instrument Panel wrote:Looks like you can now play Choplifter on the OP-1?

When they release the MaxiBrute I imagine 50% of this forum will run out of semen.

Looks like a significant improvement in the sequencing. (One sequence per key.)Psy_Free wrote:The monkeys are part of an OS upgrade for the OP-1, which also includes a new drum synth.

^ Yeah, It sure does look nice, for a Fairchild copy it's not too badly priced really.
Now I'm just looking at this, a nice good quality interface with Thunderbolt option plus UAD DSP hosting in the external interface and a few plugs included hmm

Nah... The minibrute is still about $400 more expensive than most people here can afford with their allowance..tekkentool wrote:When they release the MaxiBrute I imagine 50% of this forum will run out of semen.

Re: Winter NAMM 2012
Dumb question of the day- does anyone know if the usb midi will send straight out to the cv/gate? Im pretty much planning to get anyway because its the perfect size for the travelling midi controller ive been after. I guess that also begs the question of whether the controllers send midi as well. Now that we're talking analog again, its unclear how much digital functionality we'll get

Take a look at these -
http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2012/01/ ... minibrute/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT7eOzpw ... r_embedded
Sounds like yes on the USB/CV and no on the knobs sending control data.

Re: Winter NAMM 2012
In a couple of the videos the guy said it acted as a midi to cv convertor so I would assume usb midi too

Hm... I'm interested to see how this one comes out. No audio / video demos yet though - those I'll need to see before making a decision. It seems to have quite the arsenal of features to vouch for itself though.loungedumore wrote:So is this the waldorf Q or the blowfeld or the nano in what looks like "this is how they could afford to bring back the pulse " ie an even more expensive package ? Personally I'm most interested in the Radikal Technologies Accelerator.
