sure, just keep in mind the wavetables have dissimilar sample lengths.

Re: Ensoniq Transwaves - complete wave lists
Ensoniq EXP-3 "The Urban Dance Project" what I believe to be the Transwaves in it:
The lists of voices in EXP cards 1, 3, and 4 are available at http://www.geocities.ws/asrxcite/ aka ASRXCITE.
I will attach (NOT; see below) a PDF (which I got from somewhere I can't remember) of the full list of voices. It has some with asterisks indicating "voices that contain components which can be synchronized to external MIDI clock." I am assuming this means Transwaves. I have acquired an MR Rack, and am planning on acquiring and installing an EXP-3 card at the beginning of next month. I will know for sure then whether I am correct.
The names are spelled as in the list attached (NOT; see below.) Also some of the patch numbers appear to be out of sequence or misnumbered so I cannot vouch for their sagacity. As I stated, I will only know for sure once I have an EXP-3 installed in the MR. (Update 2/23: has been purchased, is en route. Also awaiting ROM 1.53 upgrade chips, as my MR has OS 1.01 and the EXP-3 requires at least 1.50.) And as I just discovered one cannot simply walk into Mordor and attach a file to a post in this BBS because THERE IS NO OPTION FOR ATTACHING FILES TO A POST. I imagine it's a security feature but why then can you include a URL in a post text, which is just as dangerous? HM? Oh, but we have all this font c**p that nobody ever uses. Hooray for us. This is annoying.
Go to ASRXCITE if you want to see all the voices in EXP-3. It's a spreadsheet so be prepared. Also it doesn't have these particular patches marked as such. And actually, I decided WTF and simply uploaded the file to one of my Google drives. Here is the link:
PDF of Ensoniq EXP-3 voice list with Transwaves possibly marked
Previously, the column formatting in my list was screwed up. Then I discovered the preformatted text command. A little troublesome and underwhelming but it does the job.
eMagic SoundDiver 3.0.5 works perfectly in Windows 10 x64. I imagine the pared down Fizmo SoundDiver will also work just as well. If you can get your hands on either, you will be golden with the MR.

And whereas the Fizmo has only its 55 Transwaves and Saw, Square, and Fizdrums (1 kit,) the MR & EXP-3 has 91 Transwaves and 787 sounds (including General MIDI,) 397 of which are percussion, kits, or maps. The Fizmo can only play one sound, while the MR can play up to 16, layered, split, unison, however you want, with the SoundFinder catalogue system, and a ton of effects. The Fizmo has knobs. If you play the MR with a Novation SL MIDI keyboard, you will have more knobs, pads, sliders, buttons, and controls than you can use. They each can use the same SoundDiver editor. The MR has an extra headache in that it only has multitimbral Performances, not single voices, and while effects can be edited internally, an effect/chain (insert, not global) can only be attached to and saved with a particular sound externally, i.e. using SoundDiver. If you can live with that then you can proceed to make glorious sounds that would astound Beethoven and make Mozart green with envy.

That's really interesting, I didn't even know that the MR Rack had some of the Fizmo waves.

Re: Ensoniq Transwaves - complete wave lists
Sound Diver shows that an MR-Rack with EXP-1 (World), EXP-3 (Urban), and EXP-4 (Piano) expansion cards has the following 68 transwaves waves available, in ADDITION to the core MR-Rack waves. Furthermore, it seems that EXP-1 and EXP-4 have no transwaves (they're all acoustic instruments) so these are almost surely all from EXP-3.
With only the exception of "1K TEST SINE" ALL Fizmo waves are shared with the MR-Rack or the EXP-3. (13 are shared with the MR-Rack and 41 with the EXP-3.)

Re: Ensoniq Transwaves - complete wave lists
The voices with asterisks are supposed to be a list of voices where at least one of the layers of the voice was configured by Ensoniq to synchronize LFOs and Noise to the Drum Machine's rhythm, or to the 16 Track Recorder's tempo. Very few of those voices also have a Transwave layer.gridsleep wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 7:09 pmEnsoniq EXP-3 "The Urban Dance Project" what I believe to be the Transwaves in it:

I will attach (NOT; see below) a PDF (which I got from somewhere I can't remember) of the full list of voices. It has some with asterisks indicating "voices that contain components which can be synchronized to external MIDI clock." I am assuming this means Transwaves....
I went through the EXP-3 voices as carefully as I could, using MidiQuest Pro 12 Demo and SoundDiver FIZMO. I found a number of differences, and I also went through all of the rest of the voices (I have an Ensoniq MR-61 with an EXP-1, EXP-3, and EXP-4) and created a comprehensive list which hopefully can be downloaded from the shared Google Drive link below.
At the same location, I also stashed a comprehensive list of MR & ZR voices where at least one of the layers of the voice was configured by Ensoniq to use a Transwave.

That's really great work, thanks for compiling all that!

Re: Ensoniq Transwaves - complete wave lists
You're very welcome! Thanks for the inspiration to do this research. I learned a lot of things that were interesting to me while working on this.
