Hi there,
I have updated my Roland plug-out system 1 to version 1.30.
With this update, i have lost all of my sounds, and now my synthesizer is empty.
I have found 64 sound-patches online.
Are these the sounds i have to use?
If yes, how do i load them in to the system 1.
If i need to use a driver, where can i get it.
I know these are alot of questions but i want to use my synthesizer again, i had so much fun with it..
Many thanks!
Johnny G

Re: Roland System 1 Adding soundbanks
If the patches you have are in SYSEX format, it’s simply a matter of using something like MIDIOX or SYSEX Librarian to send it to what ever MIDI port he System 1 is attached to. The other way would be to install the System 1 plugin into your DAW, launch the DAW, create a track and load the plugin, load the bank into the plugin, then tell the plugin to dump the patches to the real system 1. Even if the system 1 plugin isn’t licensed and paid for, it still can function as a librarian for dumping patches to the hardware.
