Oberheim Matrix1000 no longer receives Pitch Bend?

Post by MattOnLine » Wed Feb 27, 2019 5:53 pm

has anyone seen this before or know how to fix it? I just had the unit serviced for a noisy volume knob and electronically everything is fine now. midi seems to be working fine as well except that it no longer receives Pitch Bend or Mod Wheel info. the service guys tried a factory reset but that didn't fix it.

any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Some synths need the pitch and mod wheels calibrated (in a diagnostic or test mode) before they work after a factory reset, does it need that done to it or the controller?

Does it respond to any other CCs? CC7 (volume) in particular.

I don't see anything in the manual about disabling controller data being an option.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

My M1000 had a similar problem after updating the OS to 1.2, but the full reset fixed it...
