Considering that i have a D-50 and Jd-800 ?
Will it add some different sounds ?
Never got the chance to play on one.

The D-10 uses a simplified version of the D-50 engine, like the MT-32. So it sounds similar but thinner due to cost cutting including lower fidelity D/A converters. It does allow patrches with 1, 2, 3 or 4 partials while the D-50 patches use either 2 or 4. That's how Roland claimed 32 voice polyphony, it can play 32 notes but only when using only single partial patches. In other words, it can generate 32 partials at one time, same as the D-50.
It does have a sampled drum kit onboard with programmable patterns, which the D50 does not. The drums do not use up any of the 32 partials, which is a good thing. The drums sound similar but not identical to the TR-707.
It is 8-part multitimbral plus a 9th part for the drums. The multitimbral aspect is probably the best reason to own one. While a D50 has only upper and lower tones, a D-10 can layer or split up to 8 tones at the cost of reduced polyphony.
That price is about right compared to US prices. They are not considered very desirable, because of the thinner sound and the menu-based programming UI.
