I LOVED using DHL back when they offered domestic service within the US, but they quit that about 12 years ago.
It really doesn't matter who the carrier is, it's going to get handled A LOT from point A to point B. What IS IMPORTANT is proper packing. At least 3" of void fill between the item and the box. It must be tight (not super tight), but the object should not move within the box.
Here's a video I made year ago showing how I pack the synths I sell. I've shipped dozens of synths both within the US and WORLDWIDE and have never had any damage.
DHL to the ship synths ?.

Re: DHL to the ship synths ?.
main problem with DHL for synths is they have gone after me in the past for duty where no other shipper would, fortunately for me I had already returned the item but if I had not I would have had to add an extra 130.00 for a 500.00 item
