Mini keys...not a Roland.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I know Yamaha had several advanced-for-their-time mini-keyboards around that time frame. Keyboards like the PSS-680 had mini keys, multi-tracking, and I think they had some basic rhythm/style editing, as well.

You could program auto-accompaniment (drums, bass, and chords) on the Casio HT series. The HT-700 has mini keys and the HT-3000 & HT-6000 have full size keys.

You could also create your own tones with Digital oscillators and analog filter
