Best All-Time Synths?
Hey guys. If money was no object, what synths would be at the top of you list and how would you get hold of them?

Probably the Roland System 700. Never played one but i have'nt met a Roland mono that i did'nt like yet. They were pretty limited so i imagine having a whole bunch of them with free routing would be pretty sweet.
There's one coming up for sale in Brighton so money is the only limiting factor.
The Synthi 100 is pretty impressive from a sheer physical point of view.
Though the stuff i've heard from it was'nt all that impressive. It'd be pretty rad to have one of those still. Who knows,i could be the Synthi 100 king on the planet without ever realizing it. Think of the loss for the humanity that would be,if it was the case. So just to make sure that does'nt happen i'll start a Synthi100 fundraiser.
C'mon give me your creditcard numbers. It's for the benefit of mankind.

one of my (over the top) wish lists...
jomox resonator neuronium
macbeth m5
doepfer schaltwerk + a100 system
dsi pek
nord wave (when it comes out)
sherman filterbank
korg ms10/ms50/sq10
yamaha cs30
roland tr808
mpc1000
a trip to the hardware store for supplies
some welding skills
all the little metasonix boxes
one each of every delay pedal ever made
a nice (bigger/louder/meaner) keyboard amp or three
a 48 channel a&h or mackie onyx mixer
a huge, custom built room with beautiful acoustics
a pile of mics from b.l.u.e., royer and audix
a pile of high end preamps/compressors (isa428/adl600/summit/ua/el etc...)
an 8 track 1/2" reel to reel tape machine.
and a magic beer fairy that lives in a spare room at the studio.
most things i could just order online because they are available new, but i'd have to do some digging for the vintage pieces (you don't exactly see ms50's hanging around doing nothing at your local music shop
). finding someone to design and build me a nice acoustically balanced room shouldn't be hard with a huge pile of money.
as for the beer fairy... well... i'll keep my fingers crossed.
