but if i'm not mistaken, from the demos, an oscillator itself can be a destination too, providing classic cross mod (i.e. osc2>osc1 FM), nes pas ?

can u confirm this?

Ne pas.

Maybe you hear some modulations with noise as source ? Or audio modulation with an LFO as source, though these can't be tuned over a wider keyboard range.

Pulse width can be modulated by every available mod source.
While the LFO frequency can be set to keyscale, the highest available LFO frequency is in the lower audio range, so no "real" FM from there.

I fear you need a Poly Evolver as complement to your P8 ;)
Mmmmhhh, I fear there won't be such a thing like a P8 in my studio. Maybe an MEK at some point but I am not a big fan of mono synths neither. Maybe I stick with what I have and wait ...

That's strange to put oscillator to filter modulation and no X-mod !

So what do we have exactly ? :wink:

Hard sync ? Soft Sync ?
Ring Mod ?
Multiple waveforms oscillators ?
2 osc / voices
24 dB LPF ?
...more ???

By the way, the demos are cool and show that the modulations are fast and smooth.... :D

What we have are several posts in several threads across several forums saying official specs would be posted next week when Dave gets back from vacation. :idea:

What we also have here is someone who has an actual day job (me) and doesn't always have time to respond to posts within a few hours of them going up...but pardon me for not being at your immediate service. ;)
