I remember seeing them on the Old Grey Whistle Test about that time and I am going to go for either a) Promars or e) Jup-4.

Probably totally wrong of course but there we go. :)

From what I remember, a CS-10. But, to cut a long story short, I've lost my mind...so who knows?

Im amost certain its the Roland Promars. They used it for live shows and when i owned one, reccognised some of the sounds from the album. They also used the JP-4 but i think it was the Promars on that album.

Here they are with a Roland Promars:

midiCHIK6 is right, it was a Yamaha CS-10. That was the only synth
used in the making of Journeys To Glory.

Richard James Burgess (the producer) thought it'd be good to use the CS-10 on that album because it would be very distinctively theirs and he didn't really want to stamp them with his synth sounds as much as he wanted to create a new band sound that would be identifiable as theirs.

The Promars, on the other hand, was used on Landscape's first two albums as the synth source for the Lyricon wind controller.
