i'm considering buying a ms2000br.
i have a question, when changing a patch/program in ms2000br, does the sequencer also change ? does the patch storage also saves the sequencer data like in my evolver ?

Short answer: yes.
On the MS2000 each program can have 3 assignable tracks(pitch, envelope, cutoff, length, and some other parameters) with up to 16 steps sequencer, the bad thing is the sequencer is just internal, it can't transmit MIDI.

Riding the wave
i downloaded the manual and your right
i have another question, when changing the patch with a sequencer part, does the sequence get reset, or does the sequence keep playing (if all is going to be synced from a remote midi device this is important).
thanks for your answers.

I don't have the synth, but usually the sequence changes when you change patch. It is not independant. At least like that on the Andromeda.
So an external sequencer is the way to go if you wanna change patches and still have the same sequence going..or program the sequence into all the patches you will be using.

like Bitexion said, other thing to consider is:
The MS2000 internal clock is c**p so you can't relay on it to be the master on your setup.
With most synths and grooveboxes you can play all together without MIDI cables(you just need to have accurate timming when pushing buttons/keys)I've done it countless times with soft sequencer on a laptop plus synths, grooveboxes and live drummer, no MIDI cables involved. If you want to go like this, you will need to slave the MS clock to any other synth, then all goes smooth.

it will be a slave in a midi-clock chain, but if the preset resets, that's bad it should continue based on the song position from the midi clock (if such is available) or conitunue syncing to incoming midi messages.
i bought the unit will soon test it, thanks for the help.
