I'm done selling stuff to buy other stuff.
Everything I've sold I miss later on down the track.
This one's going to have to wait 6 months minimum.

sure. tho if i do, it probably wont be sooner than fall or so. im done buying synths for a while. gotta.. resist... aghghhhg
I was actually half joking there - if you had a P-08 I think you'd probably want to spend your time either playing it or recording music with it. I know I would - well the former at least. :P

There's literally no room for the newer knobs...unless you don't mind pinched fingers ;)

Yeah, on the P'08 keyboard the knobs looked like they are spaced further apart. Which is very nice. They probably had to use the smaller ones to cram them all in on the rack.

The more I look and read about the synth, the more I feel that it almost like the analog version of my all time favorite VA, the AN1x. At first the AN1x trying to be some kind of the VA version of the Prophet 5, now..it's the other way around :) from the ability to split and layer sounds (up to 4 osc per patch) which is switchable between patch A & B, unison, arpeggiator, step sequencer, down to the 61 keys with velocity and aftertouch, the wheels...No wonder the AN2x never released, it should compete seriously with this one now.

a lot of people mention the splitting and layering on the online reviews, looks a big part of the appeal.

One thing I wonder is if you can have the two layers on different midi channels?
