I'm glad I have learned to find joy and happiness in other people's good fortunes. Makes my life a whole lot easier ;)

Oh, and thanks again for a lovely demo, Heath!

P.S. I'm single too. I have boyish good looks and my pasta tonno is to die for.

So buy another CS-50 and play them in unison, then.

I really need to get my CS60 serviced so I can play it again but every time I think about taking it down 2 flights of stairs, I magically find something else to do instead!

Heath, that's a lovely recording!

Awww, come on... in many cases during the recording the CS-50 would sound very similar with reverb and delay!

What has to be said about Heath's synth demos are that they are good listening regardless of what synth he's showing off. I keep several of his past ones (Polymoog, Oberheim FV-1) in the iPod and when they pop up I'm struck by how musical the demos are. Same with the CS-80 and OB-X. But then again, I also enjoy the music he's posted on his website, so go figure.

Ok Automatic Gainsay, youre right. I need to fix my Dynacord VRS-23 or get another nice reverb. But evertime I visit my friends CS-80 I get stuck, at least its a difference in appeal.

And I also find Hfinns demos very musical, I listen to them alot.

Every time I hear a CS-80, I want one more and more. Heath's playing sounds like a mix of Peter Howell's incidental music for Doctor Who and the V-man himself. I guess just owning the thing ups the player's talent by quite a few notches.

Ha ha, don't get me wrong... I salivate at the thought of having two CS-50s crammed together. : )

Heath, one more tantalising demo like that, and you're banned from VSE!! Smashing demo (as always), and what I liked about it, is that it's one of the few CS-80 demos I've heard that wasn't purely Vangelis' brass/string sound.

The ring modulator on it is fantastic, and your use of it then instantly made me think of the making of the Peter Howell's 1980 Doctor Who theme.

I dread to think what GAS-inducing demo you'll deploy on us next...!

Here's a good example of what a CS-50 is capable of when it comes to beefy bass sounds:
BIG BASS
audio excerpt from Loverboy's early '80s song "Take Me To The Top"

The CS-50 is all over Loverboy's first couple albums

Lovely demo, Heath. It shows what the CS-80 is capable of. Your OB-X demo, however, makes me want an Obie! 8)
