can anyone tell me waht the moog prodigy's are like in terms of sound quality? phatness of the oscillators? i have a moog voyager but want another synth that can get phat single oscillator basslines so i can use the voyager for more complex patches.

i love mine, plus it's more stable than my Pro One and Mono/Poly. fantastic sounding, very simple. and it's two VCOs, not just one. great signal-to-noise ratio, too.

note the later versions have CV inputs, the early ones like mine sadly need to be mod'd for it.

The Prodigy has two VCO's doesn't it? It's a Moog, so of course it has to be fat, but if you don't mind me asking: does it have to be a Moog? Sooo many fat synths out there, ARPs, Korgs, Rolands, Yamahas. Sure, I'm GASing for a Moog myself, but in my opinion its always better to look at the sound/function that suits you than to buy a Moog or any other synth just for the sake of it. Anyway, hope you get a good deal on something that fits your synthetic needs!
