Hi folks
is a waldorf micro q the "yellow" version a good trade for my Roland jx8p with manual and cord and 2 memory cards? my stuff is excellent and I wanted cash but hey maybe this waldorf thing would be cool

They are different sounding synths; there are a lot of features that the Micro Q has that the JX8P doesn't but sound is usually the most important consideration and you will find that the Micro Q sounds a lot different than your JX8P. You might like the Micro Q's sound better or you might not. If I were in your situation it would be a tough call but with the Waldorf Blofeld aboutto hit the scene, I'd expect the price of Micro Qs to plummet so I might stick with the JX8P.

I think those are harder to find when it's gone while you still can easily get the uQ or even the blofeld. Unless you didn't like it sounds, the uQ is one of the nicest lit'l synth that has a much deeper engine.
