Tape Op Synth Stuff

Post by space6oy » Wed Jan 16, 2008 6:26 pm

just thought i'd throw it out there, the latest issue of tape op has a bunch of synth stuff in it. review of a book on vintage synthesizers, review of the novation xiosynth 25 and a big rant on the game boy camera as a 16 step sequencer, synthcart for atari 2600 and midines for NES.

anybody wants 'em, i can scan the articles. it's a nice surprise to see some fun stuff in this one instead of nothing but boring, repetitive recording gear rants.

They had a neat synth issue a few years ago - Peter Gabriels stuff, TONTO, and other stuff I can't remember.

Geoff Farina of Karate is a synth guy and contributes from time to time.
