VSE Logo Design Contest - RESULTS!!

Post by vintagesynth » Fri Feb 01, 2008 10:10 am

RESULTS ARE POSTED AT BOTTOM OF PAGE!!! HERE

OK Everybody, it's time to vote for your favorite design for our new logo here at the VSE synth site and Forums!!!

(Details on the concept of this contest can be found in this thread: http://www.vintagesynth.org/phpBB2/view ... hp?t=34594)

So voting has turned out to be a little too complex for a simple poll in this thread, so instead follow the link below to see all the Logo design entries and to vote for your favorites:

First the rules:
1 - You are voting on a new design for the VSE logo which will become our logo and will be featured on all kinds of shirts, caps, bumper stickers, swag, etc. that will be available for purchase so you can represent the VSE (and proceeds will go to the running of this site).
2 - You can only vote one time
3 - You will pick your 3 favorite designs, and rank them in order of 1st to third place.
4 - DO NOT post your votes or choices in this thread or anywhere else on this forum, all votes will be submitted to me by email.
5 - Voting will take place from Feb 1st through Feb 15th, 2008.

VOTE HERE --> http://www.vintagesynth.com/logos/ <-- VOTE HERE

How will we pick the winner? We'll use a points system where 1st place choices get 3 points, 2nd place choices get 2 points and 3rd place choices get 1 point. At the end of the voting period, the logo with the most points will win!

I want to thank everyone who sent us a logo design entry for this competition and wish them all the best of luck!

Very nice logos!

One question:

There are logos with different backgrounds. When voting, do you have to specify which one you are voting?

Oh, and is the voting for open for all, or VSE'rs only?

Don't worry about logos with different backgrounds... That just shows what they might look like on dark or light backgrounds...

And yes, this is open to everyone who comes to this site: these forums, the regular part of the site...

Wow, the votes just keep rolling on in..

I just wanted to mention that I am not responding to any of your emails about the votes... There's just too many... So if you voted and didn't hear back from me, don't worry - unless your email has been bounced back to you, it's pretty certain I got your vote!

I've been receiving plenty of votes already, in just the first 5 days... So if you haven't voted yet, please do so. :P

Yep, it's too late for BOOgie... Too bad, I would like to have seen how those would have done...

So far the voting is going great... Lots of votes, and some clear favorites...

That's all I'm gonna say for now... 6 more days and the results will be revealed...

That's a shame cause B00gie's says it all in one picture..

..and great art it is too.

Suppose you've drawn it freehand and scanned it?
