QY700 VS RS7000 (help plz)

Post by cuinjune » Sun Feb 17, 2008 12:48 am

Hi I'm looking for a nice hardware sequencer.
I make IDM/glitch type music.
I have an Elektron Machinedrum but it is not good for sequencing external synths, so I'm trying to buy a nice hardware sequencer.
the person I know is selling QY700 for $200 at the moment.
anyone ever used QY700? should I buy this QY700 or look for more advanced sequencer like RS7000? I need help. please..

id go RS7000. as it has a whole smapling engine wiht FX, and a real time dsp (and midi) processing functions for the sampler too... great for glitch imo.

Two of the same thread in the wrong sub-forum is not a way to endear oneself to the moderators. Another mod locked your previous thread (http://www.vintagesynth.org/phpBB2/view ... highlight=), and this one popped up six hours later.

For future reference, all "versus" topics and "what should I buy" topics go in BUYER'S GUIDE. Reposting a locked thread is not allowed.
