Does anyone know the range of serial numbers for the "bad batch" of 2006 A6's?

THanks,
Z

Is this the batch that has the dead keys and the jittery knobs? I was just about to buy one myself.

From what I understand from previous posts-the bad batch are not identifiable by serial numbers...Im not sure if there is a way of knowing apart from testing....Id be happy to be corrected...

Any specific things I need to check on the synth? GC is having a Pres Day sale and they have an A6 on the floor (new demo model) for $1950 and I'm thinking about getting it if I can scrape up the green.
