cleaning synths...
i have an Akai AX60 that works great and sounds great. i bought it used for $50 last year and did some basic cleaning up (new knobs, once over with warm water, etc). i now want to clean it up a bit more as the keys at the top are very dirty (under the board itself) and the slider felt is dusty and dirty (which does not affect the sliders at all). this is all cosmetic and i just want a nice looking piece of gear. does anyone have ideas as to the best way to clean. i am going to open her up and do a good job inside and out. anything i should avoid cleaning (besides the obvious)? any solutions or cleaners that are wonderful or just plain DONT's? thanks for your advise in advance...
