Add to Froese's list:
Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar (it was listed on Encore's liner notes)

I think the Yamaha Electric Grand was a CP-70, although they could have had a European version as well, hence the designation change.

I know, minor things...

In my relative youth I used to pore over the photos in the booklet that accompanied the 70-80 boxset and dream that one day...

I've noticed that triton-looking thing on top of Franke's modular setup (1st pic)--anyone know what that is?

It's been on top of Franke's Modular since the mid 70's. It's an embellishment piece.

This is all too cool. Ironically, one of the things that caught my eye was the triple-length flight cases -- pop the top and instant set-up.

And here's the actual electronic percussion drum unit (one of them at least) used by Chris Franke back in the day. It's to be seen in the upper right of Franke's modular tower.

http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/epu/epu.html

It was designed by Franz Knüttel who also designed the Robotwerke rhythmin' robot sequencer(also used by Franke)
