I don't own one, but I remember them basically being a Roland Sound Canvas. Just you're basic early/mid 90's low end ROMpler.

I know the RZA used it for the piano sounds on the first Ol Dirty Bastard album...

Thanks for the links Z, I usually check harmony central for effects reviews, but it slipped my mind to do the same with dr. synth :oops:
