AH FNM!! Its a shame they broke up, but also a good thing since it did not allow them to start sucking.
I think the keys player rocked the EMU Emulators during their early years.
*Edit Emu Emax spotted in the video for "Falling to Pieces" and "From Out of Nowhere"
Can't really see what keys are being used here, but its an awesome performance of "Caffeine" anyways. Note the jazz grind freakout at the end
at around 7:45 min. of this Angel Dust recording session video mark you hear either Billy or the mixing engineer mention a Kurzweil and the Emax
The Real Thing is an excellent album, but I really feel the band started to find their Real
sound with Angel Dust and their last two albums, then they broke up

The Real Thing was supposedly 95% Emu Emax sampler and the remaining bits Oberheim OBXa.

Patton was a big fan of the Roland DJ70 mkII for Mr Bungle, dont know if he used it with FNM though...
Brains can be used like a "stress ball," but only once.

i saw them about 10 times and every time Roddy had an Emax and not much more if anything.... except perhaps the last tour, i don't know - i wasn't as close to stage as the earlier shows.
