Custom Prodyssey

Just seen this on another website, someone customised their prodyssey
by adding a keyboard and the original colour coded caps to the sliders.
Looks well done though.

Would've been nicer if they were links to the owners pictures with more info. I searched matrixsynth, yuck, and they didn't site where they got the pictures. I did find the owners site and youtube video's of him playing it but not where the pictures were originally taken from.

Wow, that looks awesome! Would have been better with a 3 octave keyboard though, I find 2 octaves too small to play anything on properly.

Makes you wonder why he didn't just buy an Odyssey to begin with, then he'd get the extra octave too ;) (I still don't see the point of 2-octave keyboards for anything other than basslines).

Here's a link to a youtube video that someone did the same thing with their Minimax (minimoog clone), and then compared the sound to an actual mini: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI0-SrpzCis.

IMHO, it makes more sense for the mini, as the original trades for prices well over $4,000, whereas the Odyssey only trades for around $1,200, which isn't that much more than a new Prodyssey.
