Man, compared to these piles, the acid section of my studio is totally weak
I do quite like my recently aquired MBase01 though....

On the other hand I like acid when it's used sparingly. Multi-303 mangling doesn't really turn me on that much.

Many people would be beyond happy with your "weak" acid set-up sexor... and you have the older MBase01...very cool.

Yeah I'm spoiled I know.
You have the black one right? I think the difference is purely cosmetic isn't it? The presets truly suck, but I get a kick out of tweaking the sounds to my taste
Edit: haha I just spotted you on the pic

I had the black one...just sold it last week after deciding I like the 888's BD better (needed cash for an x0xb0x as well). I think the differences are pure cosmetic, but still...you have the original...kinda cool.
Edit: haha I just spotted you on the pic

huh?

Ah, now I get it... my x0xb0x arrives today... my "acid" set-up will be the 888, MnM, and x0x... but then again, I won't be making acid.

It's cool that you're using the acid tools but in a totally different context.

it's easily done, just by keeping the resonance turned anti-clockwise, but actually the x0x makes a good job of sequencing external gear via the midi out.

Hellyeah! A non resonating 303 square through a tube pre at around 100 BPM totally turns me on :happy2:

No way, just because you aren't making stereo-typical acid doesn't mean you can't use some high res... if you don't want that high res you are better off with a different synth and a mobius IMHO.
