Minimoog Oldschool Your thoughts on the Enveloppes

Hi Everybody

How do you find your Enveloppes in your Minimoog OS ? I found them to not be as snappy as i expected . Within a week of getting it i wrote an email to Moog and got an answer on how to tweak the synth inside to get them to work faster. And i have to say the results are impressive . They work a lot better now .Have more punch on the attack and decay.
Any of yous tweaked their Voyagers ? Anybody can name what all the Potentiometers insde do ? i know what 3 of them do so far... But i wanted also the Filter ADSR to act more on the filter without using the mod buses.

Regards

can't comment on this directly, but it's interesting (and nice) to know that a) you can actually tweak the insides to get a better response, and b) moog actually helped you do it!

by making the envs faster, did that decrease their maximum attack/decay times somehow?

the envelopes on my voyager os do not need tweaking whatsoever; maybe your OS went out of calibration or was just setup differently.

Yes it did shorten a little bit the attack and decay but prior to do the tweaks i checked and the decay for example on his max setting was actually over 10s long and it is now around 10s so maybe it wasn't calibrated properly after all . Moog was brillant they told me also how to change the pitch bend range on the wheel ...

The pitch bend mod was a quite normal one on original Model D minimoogs too.

Well the envelopes on the Moog LP Tribute are probably the snappiest I've ever heard. The Juno-6 is the only other synth that I can remember even coming close.
