PPG is mentioned on the cover of the riddle LP.

No, I have the LP in front of me. It only mentions Fairlight and (Oberheim) DMX. No PPG.

Looking at the 1985 Live Aid performance, Tim Moore plays a Roland Jupiter 6, a Yamaha DX7, an Emulator I and an Oberheim OB8 (or OB-Xa, I never know which one's which). The second guitarist, Keith Airey, plays a Roland Juno 60. It is possible that those synths were used on the album.

The PPG was used on the first album. Also a TX816 was used on the riddle album.

Hey, I recently got a wet 22/11 track stereo work session of "Wouldn't it be good" definitely sounds like Nik, but I'm thinking it may be a later re-record? I rendered a quick mp3 of the session to identify below, hope it's not a violation. Just curious.

I just have two quick questions for those that may know more info.

1) What synth was used for the "bells" or glockenspiel sound in the chorus of the song?

2) Is this original or later session?

which gear was used on "Dancing girls"? The drums seem to be a Roland TR-808 (at least partly, or heavily processed it seems) -can anyone confirm this?
I really love the bass -Prophet 5?

I'd love to hear anything related to the production of that song. I haven't found any interviews or much info elsewhere.

It was actually an Emulator II and behind the scenes was a Yamaha TX816 and a Yamaha QX1.

On the Hunan racing album a Yamaha CS80 was used on the track Human Racing, furthermore the drum machine was a Yamaha Mixer with a built in drum machine, Nik got the drum pattern y pushing two drum pattern buttons together.

I know this as I knew Reg Webb who played on the original demo as well as the album, Tim Moore was also a friend of mine before he ripped me off by selling some gear I lent him.

Yes I can send you the patch on as a sysex, just to put the record straight, the reason I know is because Nik is in fact a friend of mine and I was around at the time of the album.

OK great thanks, looking forward to receiving the patch! I'll do a demo at the weekend of the bassline in Arturia CMIV, because on the record it's clearly the Fairlight CMI IIx preset called ElBass. If you send the patch I can compare the same bassline using Arturia DX V.
