I'm trying to find the synth Jeff Woodroffe used on the Robert Plant track 'Big Log'. I've located a video of the song but I can't make out what brand & model it is. Here's the video link if anyone can help me identify what it is he's playing. http://robertplanthomepage.com/video/du ... deowmv.htm

Well, the synth on the top is a Roland, a Jupiter 4 judging by the lettering and the case. You should spot it by the end of the video.

In the very early Eighties some people complained to E&MM about Jezz Woodroof being photographed surrounded by four Jupiter 8s (in the "show-offer!" sense). In a interview to that mag, upon asked, he said he really needed them to play live. I don´t know why I kept this in my memory, but finally it got some use.

As far as I can tell there are two keyboards in that clip, the one on top appears to be a Roland RS-505 Paraphonic.
The other one might be some ARP synth/keyboard but it's difficult to tell due to the poor picture quality.

I think you´re right, Micke. It´s not a JP4 or we would see the preset switches.
