Obx-A restoration

Time to restor my obx-a.

Cleaning, editing and changing Cem deaths, changes the bushings, waxing wood, cleaning the keys, printed circuits, tablecloths ...

That is a thing of beauty.

The keys on the left of the middle look a bit wobbly, though.

Fantastic job. Wish I'd had the time and skill to have done mine, saving myself a few hundred quid !

I built an OBxa from spare parts last year from parts that I had in the workshop and garage. It was a big job, every board needed repairs, and the whole thing had to be calibrated together as all of the boards were from different machines, but it is perfect now. I found another shell on the garage, and I have a keyboard action and enough spare board to build another, but I don't know if I could be bothered going through all that again....

I did a JP-6 restoration (still not quite finished) and that's the last one I'll ever do :)
