New Order PFD screenshots

Post by Roulade » Tue Apr 21, 2009 1:24 pm

hi everyone, i recently bought the new order "pumped full of drugs" dvd and thought i would post some screenshots up here.

bit of trivia: before they play "this time of night" bernard introduces the track as "pumped full of drugs". i can only guess that after the namechange they thought "too good a title to waste" so applied it to the whole gig/VHS.

What's the thing next to the QX-1? I can't quite make it out in the other shots, either, but it looks like an RX-11 or 15.

In fact, they look to have 2 QX-1s, and there's another device next to each of them.

I remember back in the '80's having to repair one of New Order's Voyetra 8's and both of their Emulators before the show. Gillian had speakers on stands beside her keyboards pointing back at her like studio monitors rather than floor wedges, I stood beside her for the soundcheck and my ears rang for 3 days. Looking at the photo above I know full well how load that was.
