The massive haul ~Story of OIG's deal of the year~

Post by Old Iron Giant » Tue Jun 23, 2009 11:21 pm

So today I drove 114-miles up to Utica Michigan, to finalize a deal I set earlier this week on craigslist. Trading a Airsoft-Rifle for a gentleman's music Studio. A deal almost too good to be true :D

This consisted of the following:
- Mackie 14 channel mixer
- Emu' PlanetPhatt Module
- RackRaider power Module / with lights
- Ensoniq ASR-88
- One box of 200+ Sample disks
- One Numark C100 four channel DJ mixer.
- One box full of cables "four TS-R,
Two MIDI,
One SCSI,
Handful of RCA cables.

The Beast!
here's a quick shot of the Ensoniq ARS-88 I picked up yesterday. I plan on transporting it back south to my studio this week. :D

an AirSoft- rifle valued less then $300... I made out Phat on this deal

originally I found the add on CL searching for a Mixer, since my Behringer gave up the ghost.
I only needed the Mixer, and ended up taking home a car load of gear. :D *who would say no?*
the ASR-88, Emu-PlanetPhatt, Numark-mixer, and PowerController was a bonus's in my favor.
Plus I got the Mackie 1402-VLC 14-channel mixer I needed

This is JS we are talking about here. When it comes to gear he's much like a vegetarian who only eats dairy products. ;)

ok, cool... so that would make the ars-88 worth about 100? I saw you were selling it, so how bout instead of $700 I give you $200, and you'll double your money!
Do you even post on vse bro?
