Sampling option meaning an audio input to sample? I know the later versions of VAST will read Akai disks regardless of whether you have an input or not. I made a habit on my K2vx of sampling on my Akai S2800 and transfering the samples to the Kurzweil.
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

no.

Are you sure about that? I didn't think that the sampling option made any difference to the disk formats that the K2000 can read...

If I bought a K2000 V3 without the sampling option and decided to add the it at a later date, can the board be fitted easily?

Hey

I've just ordered a Kurzweil K2000 V3. It also has the sampling option fitted. Paid £250 for it. Can't wait to get it. I'll take some updated shots of my set-up when I do.
