tx-802 & classic dx-7 (mk1) patches

Post by 8bit9bot » Sun Aug 09, 2009 6:06 pm

i am not sure if anyone else had this problem, but my tx802 seems to ignore the mod-wheel if i load dx7 mk1 patches to it... however the mod wheel works for all the onboard tx802 presets - is there an easy way around this or might i need to buy some kind of editing software to translate the patches better (than what the tx802 does onboard itself) ?

also... i read that the dx7ii has some patches onboard that didnt make it to the tx802 (checked the patch list in the pdf manual)... anyone know where i can grab those? i have all the official dx7 mk1 banks, dx5 banks, tx7 banks, and tx816 banks (found them all online)... just not dx7ii banks

Since I'm always interested in good DX patches, I took a quick look around and found this at yamahaforums.uk:

I tested them with FM7, many nice patches. :D
