You also need to have the Juno in unison. Hold the chord memory button and hit write, then press all 4 C's at the same time. Then turn chord memory on and hoover away. Portamento can sound cool with this sound as well so play with that too.

Well, playing that patch on my Juno, it sounds pretty similar to me. A little tweaking should get you there.

I remember that single, love it! Sounds to me like the main stab phrase and the arpeggiated square are running through the same highpass filter via an insert bus. The highpass cutoff sounds like it's being modulated by a triangle LFO. So even if the stab was an Alpha Juno, which to me it doesn't sound like one, you'd still need an external multi-mode filter for processing.

yeah, it's not a juno... fx23, you'll need to buy another synth to replicate that exact sound.

Something with a resonant high-pass filter would be able to do this. A Jupiter 6 would do - a SEM/X-voice could do it even better. Heck - a MicroKorg would do as well.

Why do I get the feeling that the Local Control was off on all those synths for the Live PA and the midi out connectors were not connected to anything
those dudes look awfully busy for a tune that is all sequenced.

Very true but some of the better groups used to improvise live and others used to create their songs on a roland w30 so they would essentially be playing live just by bringing that sampler to the stage, search youtube for the prodigys old 91-92 live concerts and you can see liam not doing a lot in the earlier concerts but the later ones he improvises live
