Synthquiz

Title says it all. I found an old clip of a recording I made and thought I would post it as a quiz. Guess the synth. Only effected added was a reverb.

chroma......no, POLYMOOG :?
but then I wouldn't be suprised if it was the Matrix-12 doing some weird filter thing, too. Aaaargghh!

Sometimes it sounds like CS-80, sometimes like a PolyMoog, but I'm going to guess DX5 with clever programming and layers.

Cool sound. Very similar to a string layer thing I did on one of my songs on the album.

My guess is Matrix-12.

Some interesting guesses. I'm going to give this until tonight in case anyone else wants to guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was DX5. But Matrix 12, or Chroma are my main candidates. Ok, I say Chroma.

I voted Chroma too. Mainly because the sound just reminded me of that specific era when there was a transition from analog to analog-digital hybrids happening. But yeah, I get the "string layer thing" from that one too.

Fun thread. I'm not familiar with the sound of the Chroma, but I'm going to stick my neck out & vote for the CS-80.
